Natore district originated in the beginning of the eighteenth century. In 1706, Zamindar Ganesh Roy and Bhabani Charan Chowdhury, the zamindar of Pargana, Bangaishi, were fired after failing to pay revenue. Dewan Raghunandan zamindari got settlement in the name of his brother Ram. In this way Natore's dynasty was established. Raja Ram's life was established as the first king of the Natore dynasty in 1706, in 1710 AD. In 1734 he died. In 1730, Ramakant was married to the son of King Rama, along with the Queen Bhavani. After the death of Raja Ram, Ramkanta became the king of Natore. After the death of King Ramkanta in 1748, Nawab Alivardi Khan placed the responsibility of managing zamindari on Rani Bhavani. During the reign of Rani Bhabani, his zamindari was extended to Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Kushtia, Jessore, Rangpur, Murshidabad in West Bengal, Birbhum, Malda district.
