HBC: The old pavement and the cosmodrome of Asgard (part 0)

in history •  7 years ago

From posts it becomes clear that not only with the history of Omsk everything is not very good, but also with archeology.

I will not mention the "Stoyanka Omsk", where they have already dug under the stone age and find unique artifacts every year. So, as it seems "sandbox" in which give play to archaeologists. The rest of the city is taboo. And it does not matter that during the construction are found, the ritual burial of the Neolithic, gold treasures, cores, cannons, foundations in those places where nothing was officially built, for the answer alone in Omsk there is nothing that can interest historians and archaeologists. And even the core found the other day in a hundred meters from the first fortress was called a block-wheel from a lifting mechanism of the 20th century. It was named for one simple reason, it is larger than those used in the 18-19 centuries. Once again - the core was called a wheel!

But today not about this. Just a few days ago, the reconstruction of the second part of Lenin Street, in the historic center, began, which means there will be new "non-archaeological" findings. Last year, such discoveries were abundant, from the underground gallery to the gold treasures. And getting ready for the new season, it's worth a little glimpse into the past for a year, as Lenin Street ("Lyubinskiy Prospekt") looked like in the midst of the reconstruction.
