The Dolmen I saw in Gangwhado Island During Business Trip.

It was my last business trip when l dropped by Kimpo (North of Seoul) and Kangwhado island.
And the traffic was heavy due to the snow. A lot of snow had fallen, so we couldn’t arrive at Kimpo area in time.

It was already darkening, but a few time left before dinner.
We agreed to stopped at The Dolmen which was very famous in Korea as the northern style.
There are lots of dolmen in Korea, among them the dolmen in Gangwhado Island is very famous for it's style and numbers.

We ride qickly to the place where the Dolmen was stood. The road to the Dolmen was so romantic with the deem lights and trees reflected by the lights.

Finally we arrived at the place. But we could not acknowledge the exact place. It was too dark to find at once. The Dolmen was located not far from the road.

I tried to take the pics but my small flash was not so effective for the dark night

Another means needed. So we put the smartphone in the dolmen for the illumination indirect.
It worked really nice. The smartphone light was very effective. We could enjoy romantic atmosphere.

It was very cold outside. So we had to leave the dolmen.
As leaving, I was sorry that this dolmen was not properly protected.
I heard there were lots of dolmen in Gangwhado.
Someday I’d like to see all dolmen in Gangwhado

Oh. Cool photo. I love it.

Also in my Island there are many Dolmens. They are ancient buildings full of charm and their surrounding natural environment is well preserved.

Very amazing @slowwalker

amazing pics

You took those pictures professionally.
You had a great business trip in a beautiful country.
It's awesome.

@slowwalker This dolmen is very interesting, typology similar to dolmen-dolmen Southeast Asia. This dolmen can be compared to those found on the Megalithic Site of Pagaralam, South Sumatra, Indonesia. I suspect that this dolmen is more than 3000 years old.

HHmm. Looks damn good to me.

슬로우 워커님 반가워요~ 좋은 하루 마무리하세용~!

Thanks for sharing sharing @slowwalker

probably the loveliest part :)

Ho greate trip .awesome locations..i hope that you enjoyed a lot in this trip....

Very beautiful pictures and Island, hope to see more from you. Also I mentioned you on my latest post, feel free to see it. Happy holiday season.

Hello. It is cool. I love it.

Stone witnesses, something looks like stonehenge.......

Still, I like your images although a little over exposed. Next time if you have another phone (with light available) you could use that phone as an indirect light source. So you can leave the flash mode of your photographing phone off and play with the other phones light. Hope this will help.

I used to visit the dolmen when I was younger. I was so curious how they made this. Once I saw the book about it. They pour sand nearby two stone pillars until it covered the two stone pillars. And then put other stone over the two pillars and then removed sands.

tip!
