    Really nice post @vieira actually there is a Japanese architect named Hajime Narukawa, he claimed that his map is the most accurate map of earth ever produced. He used another projection for his map. This is the example of his map and it's completely different than we ever saw.

    you could read about him if you interested in geographical thing :)

        Great post, I wrote a paper on this exact topic in college. How we see the world - the expansion of colonialism and blatant racism contributed to the widespread adoption of the Mercator map... Will upvote and follow... :)
