3 years ago I moved in United Kingdom for job purpose. As many of you (my followers) know, I am veterinarian and I moved in this amazing country to find a better life. I was so excited when I came here, not only because I could have a better job, but because England counts so many amazing castles that since childhood I have only seen by watching hundreds of movies.
I know in US you don't have real or medieval castles, so maybe this post will be ignored... but I want to share with you the beauty of the majority of them

London Castle (where are kept the Queen's jewels)
Wells - main entrance (was impossible to take an integral photo)

Durham castle... used as University! To come inside I had to say that I was a student LOL
Cardiff Castle - Wales - The first photo is the oldest part one of the most beautiful Castle I have visited!

Then I found the incredible castle where is studying Harry Potter...

I did see that one (but i was thinking further north still (aberdeenshire has an abundace of beautiful castles..just stay away from any right on a cliff on a windy day..too dangerous.

Nice list I would also recommend Bamburgh Castle and Dunstanburgh Castle(which is ruined but it's a lovely walk around the grounds). Actually there are a stack of them within about 40 miles of me. The UK is full of castles.

Fantastic post. It must be truly an amazing experience to explore and visit all those different castles and appreciate their massive size, complexity and beauty.
