The Legendary Persepolis: The culmination of human genius in art and architecture

in history •  7 years ago

Persepolis or Parseh (or Takhte jamshid, Police Wanders, Thousands Columns, or Hundred Menar) is one of the ancient cities of Iran, which has been the capital of the glorious kingdom of Iran during the Achaemenid Empire for many years.

Persepolis Town Once upon a time, Persepolis was one of the richest and most beautiful cities in the world.
The beautiful architecture of this city is invented by Iranians, especially Persian and Middle Eastern tribes.

Imagine that such an advanced and beautiful engineering architecture was in that period, which was approximately 2400-22500 years ago, which would greatly increase its historical and material value, since at that time the countries of the world did not have modern facilities.

This is because the Iranian imperialism had engineers, architects, and even advanced facilities in that period of other civilizations of its age.

Eventually, the kingdom of Achaemenid Empire and the rulers of the Iranian Empire, the Achaemenid Empire, were overthrown by Alexander the Great in 330 BC, due to the inescapability of Darius the Third.

Alexander condemned and destroyed the city of Persepolis for the sake of a grudge from Persia, Persians and the whole of the East, and probably destroyed a large part of the Achaemenid books, art and culture. However, the ruins of this place are still under construction and archaeologists confirm the ruins of the signs of fire and invasion.

Since 1979, the site has been one of the recordings of Iran's UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Persepolis is located north of Marvdasht, north of Fars province (northeast of Shiraz).
