Juxtapose modern religions, fungi & the oldest trees on this planet

Most modern religions are little kids, when juxtaposed (Think: Oldest trees on this planet.)

¨A clonal colony can survive for much longer than an individual tree. A colony of 47,000 quaking aspen trees (nicknamed "Pando"), covering 106 acres (43 ha) in the Fishlake National Forest of Utah, is considered one of the oldest and largest organisms in the world. The colony has been estimated to be 80,000 years old,"

Now compare this with, for examples the Vedic writings.

Group vs Individual survival tactics..

Some fungi, have a clever way of dealing with this.
In times of plenty, the fungi spread out as individuals.
Come times of scarcity, all the individual fungi join up together to
form a large ball.
This ball rolls towards a better place, (times of plenty, you've guessed it!).
Once at the new place, or new "times of plenty".
The whole process starts again, as in: the fungi spread out as individuals.
