Samsul Bahri (23), a student died as a result of crashing his tank car with his Yamaha Vixion vehicle on Jalan Medan-Banda Aceh Blang Crum Village, Muara Dua Sub-district, Lhokseumawe, at 09.10am.
Lhokseumawe Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Hendri Budiman through Late Ignu Mulyana said Vixion BL5183KP motorcycle rode from west to east at high speed, arriving on the bend as it entered the right lane of the road and simultaneously with the opposite direction came one unit of Mobar B9441PQ tank owned by Tirta Mon Pase. Because of the close distance so that both vehicles collide.
"Vixion injury died because of a severe head injury, while the tanker driver is not injured," said Iptu Mulyana.
