The cyber security giant John McAfee defends himself through the "legal complaint" that his team is preparing against the crypto-purse HitBTC and its service providers. McAfee severely criticized the centralized crypto-currency exchange service a few weeks ago, justifying this new charge.
A lawsuit against HitBTC
The HitBTC Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform Would Restrict Docademic Token Trading (MCT) pointing out exorbitant redemption and withdrawal fees, which angered the industry guru. McAfee is a developer of Docademic - a cryptocurrency that provides free basic health care around the world, making "the world a better place." He believes that the holders of the MCT suffer enormously from discrimination from the crypto-stock market.
"It's an increased suffering for millions of poor people who can not afford the purchase. HITBTC did not respond to our requests. We are preparing a complaint against the service provider HITBTC and against HITBTC, "he announced on July 10th.https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/1016772470194561024
McAfee believes that the noble cause of the Docademic should be handled in the best way. HitBTC denies the needs of the crypto-community. As a result, he became a new enemy until the case was resolved.
"I first started the war that needs to be waged: our exchange services are tied to our banks and our governments. To dismantle the entire system, we must first dismount our exchange platforms, and therefore centralized crypto-exchanges. We must gang up against HitBTC. "
The crypto-purse responds to accusations
It seems that HitBTC ignored 12 calls from McAfee and abstained from comment for a long time. However, the trading platform ended up posting a message in response to multiple criticisms from the IT entrepreneur on his official Twitter account on July 1st:"Thank you for being the voice of the crypto-community and raising this important issue. The high price volatility of the Docademic explains the high costs, "the company added. "In addition, McAfee could help the crypto-stock market solve this problem by creating an algorithm that would automatically track overhead charges too high. Meanwhile, the eccentric cryptocurrency lover has expressly announced his determination in the lawsuit against HitBTC. Many crypto-nauts support the McAfee effort, which looks complicated for the controversial crypto-purse.
