Well... actually I do... it's because the world is filled with dumb people.
The bombing of Dresden toward the end of WWII is actually a great comparison to the bombing of the Gaza now.
Was the bombing of Dresden an offensive act by the Allied forces? Yes. Is the bombing of the Gaza an offensive act by Israel? Yes.
They were, and are, offensive acts if you're living in a fucking vacuum.
Hitler provoked the world. Hamas provoked Israel.
Hitler showed the world that we couldn't live side by side with him. Hamas showed the world that we can't live side by side with them.
Hitler showed the world that his evil was so perverse that we needed to kill him in order to allow good people to live.
Hitler hid in a bunker -- letting his people be killed in order to protect him. Hamas has shown the world that its evil is so perverse that we need to kill them so good people can live. They're hiding in bunkers and tunnels under their own people, so that their people will be killed in order to get to them.
Also, there is the fact that Hitler and Hamas share the genocidal intentions against Jews.
