I think they are confusing the new The Lincoln Project whose lead is none other than George Conway, Kelly Ann's husband. It's George and his seven dwarf's whom formed a pac specifically aimed at removing Trump from office and called Trump and Trumpism the greatest threat to this country and the constitution. Bill Weld isn't the brightest bulb in the box, when conferring with those in charge of the new pac he probably misunderstood them when they said it was a republican pac.

That's why I said yesterday there is a chance they vote to impeach but don't hand it to the senate for trail. They can sit on it and hope they get more evidence while simultaneously claiming to their base they did impeach him.

Whatever be the case, it's obvious that the uncertainties of Trump's removal is quite increasing by the day especially with the fact that Trump is of the Repulican party who have way too much senators than the democrats.
Certainly, the open decision of 6 Republicans to impeach Trump is still low as to adding up to the expected number of votes needed for the success of the poll. Like you rightly said, I'll stay with you that except a SECRET BALLOTING ism allowed before the impeachment trial become a reality.

I think if we dig deaper about any president in the world, we can always find something that can lead to empechement. There are more powerful people who will decide if the president will stay or be removed. And all this empechement drama is just a show people are involved in.
