ADVERB is among the part of speech

Basically, an adverb is a word that tells us how, where, why, in what manner something is done or happens. In most cases to form an adverb just add 'ly' to an adjective.

Example:
I drive slowly.
slow+ly = slowly

oH! does that mean when ever the word ends with ly, will be regarded as adverb
i.e quickly, shortly, and so on

Of course not. For example, the word friendly is an adjective.

ok its that there are some words that can take ly at the end of the word but its not an adverb?
