Monza - Inter 1-5 (IT-EN)

## ITALIAN VERSION *13 gennaio 2024* L'Inter fa visita al monza. La trasferta è breve per i nerazzurri, le polemiche che si portano dietro sono lunghe invece. Ma parliamo di calcio.

La partita

Fin dai primi minuti si è vista la squadra ospite con la voglia e la fame che era leggermente smarrita nelle ultime settimane. Difesa alta e aggressività hanno portato a recuperare tanti palloni in fase offensiva. La squadra di casa non è parsa brillante dal punto di vista del palleggio, e per questo, secondo me, ha fatto molta difficoltà.

La cronaca

Cross di Pavard, colpo di testa di Lautaro, tocco di mano di Gagliardini. Primo rigore di serata. Calhanoglu è una sentenza. 0-1.
Pochi minuti dopo, ripartenza feroce dell'Inter Dimarco da sinistra crossa rasoterra, Lautaro in scivolata la butta dentro. 0-2 e Monza tramortito.
La differenza tra le due squadre si vede, ma il Monza è bravo a non soccombere nel primo tempo. Per pochissimi centimetri Pessina è in fuorigioco e il gol trovato alla mezz'ora è annullato. Ancora su palla inattiva l'Inter si fa sorprendere, come contro il Genoa.
L'Inter crea ma non ammazza la partita. Cosi nel secondo tempo il Monza riesce ad essere piu aggressivo e a palleggiare meglio. Cosi crea qualche grattacapo in più alla capolista. Le rimonte subite con Sassuolo e Bologna sono nella testa dei giocatori e allenatore neroazzurro. Ma ancora una volta ci pensa il miglior centrocampista della serie A, dopo una ripartenza veloce conclusa con assist di tacco di Thuram per Calhanoglu che calcia all'altezza dischetto del rigore. 0-3 e partita chiusa, o quasi. 10 minuti dopo Darmian procura il secondo rigore di fila (contro il verona settimana scorsa), troppo frettoloso nel voler chiudere Dany Mota. Gli calcia il piede, Pessina non sbaglia. 1-3.
Il Monza ci prova ma senza creare grandi preoccupazioni a Sommer.
La partita si conclude con altri due gol dell'Inter. Ennesimo inserimento stagionale di Frattesi, tamponato e rigore che Lautaro segna 1-4. Tiro centrale e forte, si vede che non è la sua specialità.
Dopo il colpo di tacco, entra nel tabellino anche Thuram lanciato da Mkhitaryan, sterzata su Caldirola che finisce a terra, sinistro sul primo palo con Sorrentino che scommette sul tiro lungo 1-5.

Le considerazioni

Quest'anno sembra che Inzaghi abbia sempre sotto controllo la squadra. Qualche partita a vuota ci può stare sulle 38 giornate. Col Monza a parte 10/15 minuti del secondo tempo dove le squadre si sono equilibrate, per il resto non c'è stata partita. Il gruppo nerazzurro troppo superiore.
Secondo me le riserve non sono all'altezza di chi gioca. In caso di difficoltà l'unico che puo dare qualcosa in più è Frattesi. In attacco bisogna sperare che Arnautovic e Sanchez siano in giornata.

Ci si vede a Riyadh per la Supercoppa italiana.

Inter pays a visit to Monza. The away journey is short for the Nerazzurri, but the controversies they bring with them are long. But let's talk about football.

The Match

From the early minutes, the visiting team showed the desire and hunger that had been somewhat lost in the previous weeks. High defense and aggressiveness led to recovering many balls in the offensive phase. The home team didn't shine in ball possession, causing difficulties, in my opinion.

The Chronicle

Pavard's cross, Lautaro's header, Gagliardini's handball. First penalty of the night. Chalanoglu converts. 0-1.
A few minutes later, a fierce counter-attack by Inter. Dimarco crosses low from the left, Lautaro slides it in. 0-2 and Monza stunned.
The difference between the two teams is evident, but Monza manages not to succumb in the first half. Pessina's goal at the half-hour mark is canceled due to a minimal offside. Inter, vulnerable on set pieces, gets surprised again, as with Genoa.
Inter creates but doesn't seal the game. In the second half, Monza becomes more aggressive and handles the ball better, causing more trouble for the league leaders. The comebacks against Sassuolo and Bologna are on the minds of the Nerazzurri players and coach. Yet again, the best midfielder in Serie A takes charge. After a quick counter, concluded with a heel assist from Thuram to Chalanoglu, who shoots at the penalty spot. 0-3 and the game is almost closed. 10 minutes later, Darmian concedes the second penalty in a row (after last week against Verona), too hasty in trying to close down Dany Mota. He kicks his foot, and Pessina scores. 1-3.
Monza tries but without creating major concerns for Sommer.
The match concludes with two more goals for Inter. Frattesi's seasonal run into the box, blocked and a penalty that Lautaro converts. 1-4. A central and powerful shot, not his usual style.
After the heel flick, Thuram enters the scoresheet, launched by Mkhitaryan, cuts past Caldirola who goes down, left-footed shot at the near post with Sorrentino betting on the long shot. 1-5.

Considerations

This year, it seems Inzaghi always has control over the team. A few off games can happen over 38 matches. Apart from 10/15 minutes in the second half where the teams balanced, there was no contest. The Nerazzurri group is far superior. In my view, the reserves are not up to par. In case of difficulty, Frattesi is the only one who can provide something extra. In attack, one has to hope Arnautovic and Sanchez are having a good day.
