ENGLISH VERTION

Greetings friends from the WOX Sport sports community, despite the fact that I hadn't published here for a long time, today I wanted to do it to bring up a topic that makes me quite uncomfortable.

Knowing that FIFA has not sold the broadcast rights to the Women's Soccer World Cup causes me great discomfort and disgust, of course we must take into account that a great step was taken by seeking to independently offer the transmission of the World Cup of Women's Soccer of the Men's Soccer World Cup, this is the first year in which I don't know offered the transmission of both cups for the different sports channels in the world.

We know that FIFA has tried to bring the Women's Cup to the same market levels as the World Cup, so it opened an offer of more than 100,000 million dollars for the transmission of the Women's Soccer World Cup, despite this the large sports chains made offers among the Ten billion because this low amount was what was offered. FIFA makes the decision up to the present date not to authorize the transmission of the Women's Soccer World Cup.

I don't know what you guys think, but I think that in favor of broadcasting and a soccer market still to grow, they should have accepted or, in a better case, made a counter-offer in order to get the main sports channels interested in transmit this Cup and thus generate interest so that we understand that we should also consider this fair of great interest and importance.

It's a strange situation - In one sense, the TV deals should be the same but as things stand, the women's game doesn't have the same appeal as the men's so from a commercial point of view, it makes no sense.

The way to make the women's game more popular is to televise it and reach a wider audience. Then in future tournaments, it'll have more commercial value.

If FIFA wanted to put the men's and women's tournaments on an equal footing, they'd be hosted together and everything - sponsorship, TV rights, stadia, etc. will be combined. Like they do in Tennis.
