Despite involvement of many countries across the globe participating in various types of games, United States of America, China, Great Britain, Russia, Germany, Italy, France, Australia, Netherland and may be Canada have always been the top 10 on the medals table over the years. While some countries like South Africa, Kenya, Cuba, Dominican Republic, India and few others are improving each Olympic year👏, others are attending as spectators scarcely winning a Bronze😒.

It is going to be all fun seeing one of the biggest boys and girls slips from the top ten while one or two minnows crawl up to top 10 in the medal table.

Welcome to WOX Sports. I agree with you - with so many events and such variety to enjoy, the Olympics provides something for everybody. USA and China will inevitably lead the medals tables.
It'll be interesting to see how France approach the Opening Ceremony tomorrow night... I'm not one for watching every nation walk out with their flags but the bit before is always an impressive spectacle.
