And here we are. The final preview of the 2020/2021 Premier League season on the final day. Excited? Me neither.

We've reviewed the Goalkeepers, Defenders and Midfielders so let's finish things off.

Our 2 forwards that move into our Archive are Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin with scored of 22 and 25 points respectively. That's 4.4 and 5 points per game which is another good showing. I've done well with the forwards so fingers crossed I can end with another good result today. As usual, the past performance of my picks is available at the end of this article.

I'll pick up to 2 players -

  • the primary pick based upon all analysis
  • a cheaper pick if the primary's a premium option.

So as always, I'll begin with my custom metrics and I'll include an extra couple of teams than my Midfielders analysis to give us a few extra options.

We should get some good options within these teams, so let's see what Liverpool, West Ham, Leeds, Sheffield United, Burnley and Fulham have to offer.

Perhaps surprisingly, Chris Wood tops our list by quite some way but something doesn't feel right about picking him this week and I wonder if his hat-trick against Wolves is skewing things. Especially considering he's blanked for the last 2 Gameweeks in which Burnley haven't scored and they've conceded 7. But, I'll put my prejudices to one side for a moment and look at his last 3 matches.

Everything inside of me is telling me that Chris Wood isn't the best option but the data can't lie. The only lie is in how I interpret it. And I've done my best to interpret it as "don't get Chris Wood". I've reviewed Firmino, Antonio, Bamford and Rodrigo and they're not as good so here we go...

🔥 Chris Wood

I believe Firmino will be the better option for today and not Wood though, I think Wood will receive a red card today. Haha

Ha ha. A bold prediction!

I got Firmino in last week. Remember that Sheffield United are utterly, utterly useless.

yep, I knoe sheffiled is useless but I see them causing a huse upset against burnley today.

I will even recommend that you go in for a sheffield forward. hahaha

I will even recommend that you go in for a sheffield forward.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

hahahaha, I sounds fuuny even to me.

Buf I know at full time i will be right

I laughed at the suggestion of captaining Joe Willock in GW37. I should have captained Joe Willock in GW37.

In fairness, Jebbison has a decent chance of scoring. I expect Burnley to not risk Nick Pope which is a massive blow to Burnley's clean sheet prospects.

The last matchday historically has plenty of goals.

Yep, but I would go for McGoldrick.
I can see him grabbing a couple of goals for himself.

Hi @the-gorilla i hate to say this but i told you so🤣🤣

When I saw McGoldrick had scored, I couldn't believe it. He only scored 1 though!!

I've still got my triple captain and I'm thinking of using on Willock.or Firmino

Football is done for now.... what are you gonna do? Do what you do best?😂

There are a couple of Grand Prix and then it's the European Championships and then another Premier League season. I've also got tickets to the tennis in Eastbourne next month so I'll be keeping busy 🙂 I might have a bit of time to write about something else too - or maybe I'll just have a break.

I'm intrigued as to what you think I do best 🤔

Being a steemit police?🤕

😫 Oh, that.

I'll be writing lots of previews for the Euros too once the squads start to get announced 😃

Hahahah...cool
