Nearly $67,000, Bitcoin price sets new all-time high

The price of Bitcoin hit a new all-time high above $66,000 on Wednesday.

Referring to CoinDesk data, the price of Bitcoin on Wednesday (20/10) at 21:54 WIB was at US $ 66,943.5 or jumped 7.59% compared to the previous 24 hours position.

The world's largest crypto price by market capitalization broke the previous high of $64,889 in April.

The latest rally to hit a new all-time high pushed Bitcoin's year-of-date return to 129.24%.

While based on the Indodax page, 1 Bitcoin is equivalent to Rp 929,057 million. Meanwhile, according to Bitcoin.co.id, 1 Bitcoin is equivalent to Rp 929,999 million.

Bitcoin prices got a boost from the launch of the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF, the first Bitcoin exchange-traded fund futures to get approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The ETF, which trades on the New York Stock Exchange with the ticker BITO, collected a first-day trading volume of more than $1 billion, placing it among the most successful ETF launches of all time.
