• 1 ½ pound ground beef
• 2 Tablespoons Chef Politte Steak and Chop Seasoning
• 4 Tablespoons butter-not pictured
• 1 package or 1-pound sliced mushrooms of your choice
• 1 cup beef broth
• 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
• 2 Tablespoons A-1 steak sauce
• 2 teaspoons garlic salt
• T Tablespoon dried parsley
Method
Add the 2 Tablespoons of my Steak and Chop seasonings to the ground beef and mix well. Form into 4 patties. Melt butter in a skillet and brown the patties on both sides. Pull patties out after browning them and add the mushrooms and garlic salt and sauté until soft. Add parsley flakes. Add water and beef base and incorporate into the mushroom mixture and bring to a high simmer to reduce the sauce. Add heavy cream and keep simmering until the sauce reduces and thickens. Add the patties back into the pan and cover to cook the patties to the correct internal temperature of 165 degrees, intermittingly basting the patties with the sauce throughout the process.
When the correct internal temperature is achieved, remove the patties onto a plate with your favorite side dishes and cover with the sauce.
