Last year, 2019, Alibaba broke its all-time best singles day record with $38b in sales. With the pandemic forcing everyone to shop online, Alibaba is expected to break its previous year's sales record today.

For the last two years, Alibaba has been improving the single-day record of the previous year. In 2017,, Alibaba smashed a Singles’ Day record as sales crossed $25 billion. Last year, 2018, Singles’ Day sales were a record, an amazing $31 Billion in Sales. Jack was so right when he said in 2017 that today is hard, tomorrow is going to be worse, but the day after tomorrow is going to be Sunshine.

11th November is Singles day in China. Singles’ day event is similar to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Last year, Alibaba loaded its first $1 billion in sales in just 68 seconds and the first $10 billion in half an hour.

Today, 11 November, Alibaba is well on its way to creating a new history. Early Wednesday morning, the Alibaba authorities reported that annual sales had so far reached 372.3 billion yuan ($56.3 billion).

Let’s see if Alibaba is able to break the $100 billion barriers by the end of the day. https://www.technologyelevation.com/2020/11/alibaba-smashes-singles-day-record.html
