A pair of mating Darner (not sure of which species) dragonflies flew too close to the lake here in Prescott, AZ and ended up in the water. One managed to avoid getting soaked and flew off while it's mate ended up in the drink.
Fortunately I could easily get a hold of it and after letting it dry off a bit on my fingers I put it on a brush to live another day.
Beautiful creatures and beneficial predators.
