Meraih harapan. (dok. pribadi)

Duduk diam sambil termenung.
Badan bersandar simpuh tercenung.
Dua kantung mata bengkak kembung.
Tanda perasaan sedang mendung.

Kalbu terasa isi kabut debu.
Nurani diam tertutup abu.

Oh, sang Penguasa Semesta beri aku harapan.
Setidaknya anugerahi diriku kesempatan.
Untuk meniti hari depan.
