Und eine wichtige Geschichte, denn ich würde auch jedem der noch steem (oder sonstigen Acc, den der nicht zuverlässig erreichen kann) als Recovery hat dringend empfehlen, das zu ändern. Im Fall der Fälle, erleichtert das den Ablauf doch erheblich, am einfachsten natürlich ein eigener 2. Account.

Find es super, dass du das machst! Und hoffe gleichzeitig, dass du möglichst wenig "Ernstfälle" bekommst.

Gefühlt kommt es ja nun doch häufiger vor, dass die Accounts "gehackt" werden - zuletzt ja sogar ein der SC-Accounts. Obwohl es in vielen Fällen wahrscheinlich eher Nachlässigkeit gewesen sein wird.
Ein eigener zweiter Account ist auch meine erste Wahl. Falls das für andere so nicht machbar ist, biete ich mich gern an.
Habe natürlich auch überlegt, ob man das irgendwie unberechtigt ausnutzen kann... ich werde sehen... :-)

Was ich an einigen Witness überhaupt nicht kann ist wenn eine Nachricht kommt die in etwa so startet

Ich habe vor langer Zeit mich einmal damit beschäftigt und hatte einen Plan und zwar bot ich S.Chiller an auf die andere Seite meines Gartens zu ziehen damit ich ihn näher hätte um sein Wissen über die mir fremde Materie anzapfen zu könnte ich mach’s kurz das wurde nichts , seitdem habe ich mich nicht mehr damit beschäftigt meine Sorgen um die Votes habe ich alle Chiller überschrieben mit der Proxy Funktion

Die Witness die ich kenne mag ich alle ich bekomme ihren Austausch untereinander oft mit wenn ich mal wieder zu faul zum suchen bin wo es was interessantes gibt ,schau ich immer wo du oder Andreas sich rumtreiben oder chiller auch wenn ich es oft nicht verstehe weis ich doch das ihr oft im Dienste für die Gemeinschaft unterwegs seit

Ich danke dir auch für deine Worte.
Ja, die von dir neulich angeprangerten (Dankes-)Kommentare gibt es in abgewandelter Form auch bei manchen Zeugen. Das habe ich auch bereits erlebt... und lehne sie genauso ab.

Schön, dass du das weiterhin verfolgst. Auch im Hintergrund passiert vieles, wird vieles unter den Zeugen diskutiert. Ich hoffe nur, dass wir die (sonst eher den Deutschen nachgesagte) Eigenart überwinden können, alles zu zerreden, sondern einfach auch mal machen... und vielleicht auch mal probieren. Nicht auf Teufel komm raus, aber schon mit Mut. :-)

Ja, zerreden ist auch nicht mein Ding viele Wege führen Sprichwörtlich nach Rom aber wer nicht losfährt der kommt auch nicht an Diskutieren, machen und bei bedarf regulieren wenn nötig und möglich
Ich habe weder Zeit noch Muse mir das Programmieren beizubringen so ohne Hilfe vor Ort sowieso unmöglich , ich finde das Thema aber hochspannend

Im Grunde ist das ja das Schöne am Steem, hier muss nicht jeder Programmierer sein, um sich beteiligen zu können. Ist total einfach, man muss nur mit anderen ins Gespräch kommen können/wollen :-)

Ich glaube die Statistik ist nicht so falsch über den Zeitraum jedes Mal wenn jemand wieder online geht ein Strich das wäre bei mir schon einige Mal am Tag

Looking at the repositories on Github, there seems to be some movement overall. Some repos have been adapted due to use in a Testnet. For me, this indicates a positive development.

I agree. I've been curious to see where this leads.

I hope people are looking at their witness votes. In recent days, I've been seeing 3 higher ranked witnesses with sizeable numbers of missed blocks. At least two of them were showing as disabled last time I checked.

There can always be server problems, but they should be resolved within a reasonable time.
I still support the reintroduction of automatic deactivation if no blocks have been produced within a certain period. However, we need a hard fork for that.
At the moment, there are numerous other issues. But as I already mentioned, I do see some progress now. That makes me feel positive, and I will try to contribute my part to it.

This recovery services you introduce is really a right move towards the right direction because I know some few people years ago that lost their accounts or steem to hackers. As a witness, we do appreciate your commitment to the Steemit system. I voted you, when Michelangelo mentioned you in one of his post..

Yes, that's how it should be!

It lasts 30 days. This is in case an hacker has stolen your owner key and then changes it. If he could also change the recovery account immediately, you would no longer be able to recover the account.

Auf jeden Fall!
Ich fürchte, es ist den Usern gar nicht bewusst, dass man sich vor sowas besser wappnen und für den Fall der Fälle vorbeugen kann.
Am Anfang ist zwar nicht viel auf den Accounts zu holen, aber gerade wenn man einige Zeit aktiv war, gerät so eine Sicherheitsmaßnahme vielleicht doch in Vergessenheit.

Thank you, If you lose your active key, you do not need to make a recovery. The active key can be generated again with your owner key.
Only if someone gets your owner key and changes it do you need the recovery your account.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask... I hope you don't run into this situation. But if you do, it's good to be prepared.
By the way: Your recovery account is also still @steem. :-)
