@xpilar is currently a top consensus witness and averaging around 10k STEEM per month as a witness pay.
As such, we believe that there is currently no need to reverse farm for +100$ via circle voting. We may suggest that instead of delegating to @upvu for self-rewarding. That SP should be used to help other less unfortunate users instead. Furthermore, our downvotes are fully based on disagreement on rewards.1 Someone who is delegating nearly 100% of his stack to votes for delegation via @upvu schemes (+480,000 SP) is not really something we would call beneficial for the community or what someone who cares about the community would do. He is of course free to do it the same as we are free to regulate posts with excessive rewards, especially someone who is guaranteed a 10k per month + the usual 50% curation returns from his SP. He just recently updated his delegation but this is not enough.
Instead of always pandering to the profitable side, people should be more responsible and request large stakeholders to further PoB (Proof of Brain) via manual curation.
Being a large stakeholder does not mean that you care. @haejin is probably one of the biggest stakeholders that we have been downvoting for ages for farming, and he also does not care.
We are also against populists who use people who financially rely on them to further their political agenda. We are also one of the few witnesses who actually care enough and engage in reward regulation regardless of its dangers.
It was also an eye-opener that everyone wants @upvu to be involved. This clearly shows an intent to damage and pressure any potential opponent via different schemes ... If only everyone fought that hard for the small fishes.

For further proof that symbionts is not downvoting based on disagreement of rewards like they claim...
This is a list of the trending page right now with post values worth anywhere from 3x-6x what symbionts is downvoting xpilar and others for, not to mention some of these posts literally are a picture and a sentence:
If symbionts were some white knight protecting steem from overvalued posts, why do we not see not even a single downvote on any of these posts? Not today, not yesterday, not any day...
That's because the real reason symbionts is downvoting is because they don't like how we used our witness votes and are trying to bully and intimidate users to vote how they see fit. This is unacceptable behavior from a Top 20 witness and @upvu needs to no longer support this bad behavior.

You'll probably dismiss me as another one of @xpilar's lackies but I've always been able to think for myself and these are a few thoughts for you.
Downvoting @xpilar and trying to force him off the chain is not good for Steemit. If you succeed, it won't just be @xpilar leaving, it will likely be an entire community and all of the good work that they / we do as a group. Including me.
As has already been pointed out to you by @jondoe, there are other witnesses who do worse than this. And many of your witnesses are responsible for more spam and bull shit content on Steemit than @xpilar. Why aren't you attacking them? For example, the creators of 2 of the most popular upvoting services - one of which is our number 2 witness. The creator of the #krsuccess auto-vote which is responsible for approximately 100 posts per hour, all of which are crap. The creator of UPVU whose users you attack but not the source of the problem.
You have even voted for 2 of these 3 witnesses yourself, who are clearly damaging the quality of content being produced on Steemit.
I'm relatively new here - 15 months roughly and you're THE FIRST Steemit user to say this. Why's that? Because all of the people who hold this world view created Hive and since they left, Steemit's been a peaceful place where people don't justify their bullying through a line in a white paper that's 5 years old. This view is not reflective of the community that Steemit's become, it hasn't been for a long time and if you want Steemit to become Hive (without the developers), then that's the future that your actions will create.
Whilst we understand your disapproval of @xpilar's support of @ steem-supporter, there are far bigger challenges for Steemit right now and you are choosing the wrong fight.

This is completely and utterly false. Symbionts only started downvoting xpilar, myself, and several others after we voted for xpilar and his team for witness. They didn't like our witness votes, simple as that. Symbionts can try to spin this any way they want but they only started downvoted after they didn't like who we were voting for as witness as a form of bullying.... This kind of behavior is unacceptable and @symbionts should lose their spot within the Top 20. You should not be supporting this kind of behavior from a top witness @upvu.
