I found this picture accidently when I was going through my gallery. Five years ago, I visited Ella area with my friends to Ella Mountain hiking. It was nice travel experience to me and the environment around the mountain describe the beauty of Sri Lanka. We can see green carpets around the mountain, some waterfalls, roads like snakes, and well managed vegetable cultivations. We were able to see beautiful environment as far away as possible due to good weather conditions at that day.
This hike was not too long, and anyone can complete it within few hours. It is better to choose days without heavy rains. Foreigners said that they are really interested to that place and local people also go there. This figure shows a rock plain located at somewhat higher place.
