Ancient Polonnaruwa Kingdom ( පොළොන්නරු රාජධානිය )

Dear Friends ,

Polonnaruwa was the second kingdom of Sri Lanka. First kingdom of Sri Lanka is Anuradhapura , which ruled the island for around 1500 years. It was a golden era for the island. Polonnaruwa era was not easy for the Sri Lankan ruler due to foreign attacks. But this era can be identified as the golden time for our agriculture.
