Days with Solar Engineering !

Hello Friends,

These days I'm working with some solar projects with a company and getting lot of experiences related to the industry. So I thought giving you an idea how domestic solar system works. A solar power systems can be basically divided in to two categories , Grid ties systems and Off grid systems. In Sri Lanka , people mostly use grid tied systems which feeds the generated energy directly to the utility grid. And off grid systems means , solar systems with batteries which are used for locations where utility grid cant reach etc communication towers in mountains , islands etc.

Today I'm going to tell you about grid tied systems , this is what we use mostly. A grid tied system means the solar systems is connected to the utility grid through a net meter to calculate imported and exported energy. This systems are not complex. Normally domestic systems are less than 20kW's.

There are basically two units in a solar systems. Solar Panels , which are used to convert energy from sun into DC electricity and Inverter unit , which convert that DC electricity in to AC electricity. And we directly feed that energy generated through the energy meter to the grid. The bill is calculated based on imported energy by the building and exported energy by the solar system. So it's very simple

This is a really good investment and payback period is less than 5 years for projects larger than 10kW's and for houses which has a large consumptions , this will always profitable when considering the block tariff. I will share more information step by step. I'm really busy with few projects these days. But working to implement this 100% green , environmental friendly systems always make me happy. Thanks for going through my article.

Have a nice day !

solar is a good power saver.

Thank you

most welcome buddy

You're really a great teacher, sir @besticofinder. I learnt a lot from the reading. I now understand how solar works. You did a great teaching here.
Nevertheless, please sir, sorry for commenting these here, I tried connecting you through the discord but I was unable to do so.

Thank you

No problem .. my discord link is in the profile.. feel free to contact

I've tried it sir, and it was termed invalid. Maybe you should invite me.

Sir I also want to use this medium to thank you for the work you're doing in steemcryptoacademy. I also want to remind you that I've submitted my homework for the week 5

Ok sir I've sent the request, I hope you accept. Thanks for your care

@besticofinder

First of all, I am happy to join such a power project . Also, this is very important for a country where Sri Lanka receives daily sunlight. And a good explanation.

Thank you

What you have written about the energy of the sun is quite right, both types of power are used in our Pakistan too and we prefer solar energy. Because it is very inexpensive and keeps moving without interruption.

Thank you

great job aiya...

Thanks malli

Summer almost here and we may need to save some power by using solar system. Thanks for sharing this helpful content to us dear friend 💖💗❤️ @besticofinder

Thank you

Cada vez que trabajamos siendo amables con la naturaleza, el futuro nos lo agradecerá. Saludos.

Every time we work being kind to nature, the future will thank us. Greetings.

🌿🌳🌍

Thank you

You’ve done a great job sir @besticofinder

Thank you

You're welcome

Professor, my regards and respect, today is the last day of the tasks at the crypto academy and mine has not yet been reviewed. I am encouraging my whole family to join the platform so that they can enjoy this beautiful experience.
