The Ship's wheel

This is a photograph captured at the Navy museum , Trinco. This is called the ships wheel or the steering wheel of a ship. You can identify it easily as a ship's wheel has eight strong spokes. This is the main control unit of a ship and most important part of a ship. Generally this wheel is connected to a mechanical system to control the direction of the ship.
