These are some kind of historical photographs..This is an Italian master artist... his name is Luciano Marenzi.
One day in October 1967, a very sad news was reported in Sri Lanka. That is, a group of organized saboteurs had attacked historical Sigiri paintings with tar and destroyed them. It was later felt that this attack may have been done by the traders who had to move their shops far away because the area around Sigiriya was designated as an archaeological conservation area by the then Commissioner of Archeology Professor Senarath Paranavithana. Mr. He very skillfully manages to restore the destroyed Sigiri paintings...
But the saddest thing is the fate that befell Luciano Marenzi much later, much more recently. He spent the last days of his life in a coma, walking like a beggar along the streets of Naples, Italy, and died in a public hospital in Naples like an orphan with no one to care for. Most recently like 2011 if I'm correct.
He lived for at least 4 decades from 1967 until his recent death. In a country like ours, where actresses who act in Indian TV dramas spend lakhs of rupees and bring them to Sri Lanka from the airport in an open vehicle, if the man who saved this Sigiriya could be brought here once and paid a tribute, a way would be made to pay his last life comfortably. If you could give
