My Professional Cricket Life Experience

Hello everyone,
I’m super excited to share my experience in cricket.
When I’m twelve years old I started my cricket life. First I join for Galle international cricket stadium club. I played many matches and I got many experiences through this club. In 2010 I got the chance to go to India for a tournament with a club in India. I got a new experience there. The match was held in Banglore, the stadium was huge, there was a big crowd and I’m a little boy of twelve years with my cricket items which are bigger than me. That was the day I was so excited as a little boy. I played for 3 years in this club and I stopped my cricket due to my education. Therefore after my education, I started again my cricket journey due to my elder brother’s encouragement. My target is to join the national team in Sri Lanka.

First I did my practices as indoor sessions with a coach. On the first day, I felt very hard and I was afraid of doing this again but on the second day it was a good session and I was motivated to do cricket again. I practiced for 3 months as indoor sessions and then I thought to join for Galle cricket club which is a great platform for my journey and Unfortunately, the practices there were stopped temporarily due to the covid-19 pandemic situation. So I participate in some club matches till the practices are starting. I got a new experience there.

I remembered my young age how I played as a little boy in the matches and now I’m a big boy who is playing cricket again with a big crowd. In a match, I scored 63 which is my best score at present, and in the future, I suppose to score more and do a great job for my country. At present, I’m doing my practices well and in the future, I suppose to join for Galle cricket club.

Cricket is my favourite sport since my childhood. Even now I can remember how much I fell for it then. Frankly, these days my interest on SL cricket has faded. But still I love to watch cricket matchs whenever I have free times. Really glad that we have a cricketer here☺️ cheers you for a blast in your journey ahead...❤
