I woke up this morning with an interesting memory of an induction parade of newly admitted students of the department of theartre,films and carnival studies.
It may interest you to know that thearte induction originated from Greece ,I had a telephone chat with the president that championed the first induction in university of Calabar and he said "it is worthy to note that you can't talk of thearte and discard it's relationship with festivals,rituals and rites.
But sadly we find ourselves in a society that views festivals,rituals and rites as demonic and barbaric forgetting the creativity put in it.
Thearte induction isn't a rite with spiritual implication,but just a rite to show creativity and reviving the culture of the greats.
