Alfred Nobel who was born in Sweden had a great interest to learn new things. So he was sent on a tour to American and European continents by his father Emmanuel. After that tour Alfred joined his father's business which was manufacturing bombs. It is reported that Alfred has spent all his time on manufacturing new cracks.

After the death of king Tsar Nicholas ii of Russia who was the biggest sponsor of their bombs, Nobel family business crashed and they had to move from Russia to their mother country Sweden. Alfred who committed to build up their bussiness again from the bottom for days was able to produce a new crack using Nitroglycerenc.

His next mission with his father was to manufacture a new practical crack which can be carried here and there easily. During this period some of their laboratories and factories were exploded and he even lost his brother Emil's life. But Alfred carried on in spite of all these hindrances by establishing factories and distributing his latest production name "Dynamite" to countries including Britain, America and France which criticized Dynamite at first saying those are harmful.

Dynamite were used in both industrial and destructive activites and Alfred became rich by selling those. But he became poor in physical health with diseases and mental health by criticisms from the society on Dynamites. He was named as "Seller of death" by people and there was only an old servant with him when he was dying by a heart attack in his large house.

But Alfred who regretted a lot about his innovation is being used for destruction instead of development , made a fund to reward the noble people who have done a great service in world peace, literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Economy fields by his last will. That reward is the well known "Nobel Prize". Nobel peace prize is awarded in Oslo city in Norway and other 5 Nobel prizes are rewaded in Stokholm in Sweden.

Me too. Waiting for that day. His work is immortal though he died in a sad way.

This reminds me that, Money matters but not always.

As you described this invention brought a new era to the world and without this invention, the world would be far far behind compared to where we are now. Let's wish Sri Lanka to have a Nobel Prize in this decade.

This reminds me that, Money matters but not always.

Exactly health is the actual wealth. Not money.

Let's wish Sri Lanka to have a Nobel Prize in this decade.

One day we surely will.✌️🤗

Valuable exemplary article. Mr. Nobel wanted to reward poor people with compensation for the damage he had done. But now it is doubtful whether it is happening properly.

Exactly. He has done a noble thing.

But now it is doubtful whether it is happening properly.

I don't know about that either🤔. But I have heard that The Nobel Foundation is a private institution.
