In this Sri Lankan Community, I wanna recall all of your sweet cherish memories on 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup.
Why I did say it as a sweet memories because we had being living in the winning hope until the end of that game.
It was happened exactly 14 year ago in a same day like today. We were watching the game at the time I am writing this. That was a Wednesday. Lot of hopes and happiness were in the mind when I got up from the bed. Went to school thinking the evening match. We were really addicted into cricket at those days.
We sat on the TV but it couldn’t go as we wished. Rain started and made our hopes fade away. We were kiddo in 2007 but know what would happen if the over gets reduced because we don't have much power hitters unless Jayasooriya.

Most of Ausies are power hitters but not like us. Our one and only hope was the master blaster, Sanath Jayasooriya.
We were continuously sitting on the tv making bless to them.
I wanna extract a quotes from Murali at these days. He expressed that,
" Vaas bowled the first ball. I saw his face got shaded. Then he told me that this might be a tuff game because ball is always going towards the bat. The pitch is a dead pitch. Even today, I believe that we could have won the match if the rain didn't interrupt.

I am a big fan of the cricket and I like play cricket. I was good remember this match.I think it was a very interesting match on that day. Also Mahela Jayawardhana was the best cricket player in the srilanaka

Thanks for recalling the memory on this day. As for today, I have not watched the entire match. I just could not tolerate us losing. It was our perfect chance of winning yet another world cup. I am not sure whether we would ever be able to at least be in a world cup final.
