I have read about that Burj Khalifa foundation. That was a piled - raft foundation which has 3.7m thick raft foundation and 192 piles. Just imagine the thickness of 3.7m. It's higher than a single story house's roof level.

No body knows the engineering beauty of the underground but only see the architectural beauty.
