Again the lockdown was extended for another 7 days. As a result of that so many movie links are going here and there in social media which make me to get rid of my essentials and being persuaded to watch them in gloomy environment.

I grabbed the link today morning and kept watching until the end without getting moved from the bed. Absolutely it was touched in the deep heart and made me to write this substantially. 🙃🙃🙃

The cast is Kumara Thirimadura (Luvis) and Sarath Kothalawala (Guna) who are the co-directors as well. It was based on a story in war era. Guna's brother was accused as a suicide bomber who bombed an army bus. That news was published in many of the newspapers in their headline saying that a Sinhala tiger kills army. That news makes an anger on the every villagers other than Luvis and they put Guna's house in fire and make Guna a disable. No body gives a care to them other than Luvis.

Later Guna found a piece of Newspaper which declares his brother was unjustly blamed for the bombing of an army bus. Since the name of the newspaper was not in that piece, no body believe him. So he decides to go to Colombo and make that news published in the Headline. The total story is around the said summary.

Movie starts with a scene that Guna struggles in finding of vegetables in trashed which clearly shows how poverty he is. And the filming location is just like a dessert where can barely see a tree and the grocery is one which it had to be in early 80's which shows the non development of the Village. Every scene is saying something than it is expelled from the words.

They choses train to travel to Colombo. Luvis was amazed by looking around Colombo. Each and every scene and dialogues of them clearly describes about their life style and social status and their educational level. Anyway they get done the thing that they want by publishing his brother's innocence in headline.

But later the both the person who wished to see the news died but village would have been known the truth. No body was there to witnessed the villagers' expression on the news.

This movie tells many thing about the society, poverty, politics, underworld, etc. Anyway the things to be described in days has been pinched into one and half hour.

A best heart touching movie in Sri Lanka.
