This is my city tour 👉 Moratuwa Part II 👈

In my previous post I told you that I won't be able to cover most of it and that is why I thought bringing you more places.

Holy Emmanuel Church is where today journey started. This is the oldest Anglican Church in Moratuwa. The history dates back to 1799. Every hour church rings a bell to indicate the hours.

Prince of Wales College is one of the most prestigious collage in Sri Lanka. The school was founded in 1876 and since produced so many great individuals who serves Sri Lanka as proud citizens. The collage has 02 sections one for the boys "Prince of Wales College" & for the girls "Princess of Wales College".

Street Art, Earlier this year group of young artists started a project painting the street walls to make the city beautiful and clean. The initiative become viral and suddenly every youngsters and paint artists were gathered in the streets of Sri Lanka to do the same. It was a non profit volunteer service, that's what it was made more beautiful. The nation learned a lesson from that initiative. Which is young people trying to keep the city clean. Now that there are no space for posters city looks amazing and very clean.

Keels Super Market is where local always go for their grocery needs. Super market concept was very odd to people decade ago and was only capturing high end society. There was a misconception &marketing error where people thought pricing of the product in supermarkets are expensive. However keels took initiative to cater to everybody and things changed rapidly. This could happen to #cryptocurrencies as well, when people change their mind set.

Piyara Fashionis a clothing store and best in town for fashion trends. People in Moratuwa are more into fashion. It's a cultural thing with the back ground of Catholics.

Fire & Rescue unit has done a lot of service to the city. Very efficient service by them. Firefighters risk their lives to save ours. I'm appreciating them by putting this picture.

Check the clouds on each photo and that is what happen in Sri Lanka within minutes, this minute you feel so hot and next minute it is raining cats and dogs. The rain continued to pour down and I had to finish this photo tour missing 02 more important places which is Moratuwa University & Arthur C Clarke Institution for Modern Technologies.
