I suppose such wired cameras are very unreliable nowadays. I've heard several stories about them. Robbers can easily cut the wires and nothing stops them. As for security systems, I prefer all the devices to be wireless. It is also about different motion sensors, fire detectors. If we consider an Ajax home security system, their products don't even require a wi-fi connection as they work from an independent sim-card. That is a great example of system independence. I guess this camera from the picture is used for any commercial purpose. If you want to protect your place, try to choose modern equipment for that.
