I've been in steemit for almost 3 years. I have endure difficult times in and outside the blockchain world that has made me stronger and wiser, also showed me the most important thing of all: the power of the equilibrium. You see, we're all different individuals with our own minds filled with ideas, concepts, dreams and hopes. That's what makes this world interesting, otherwise everyone will be the same and this will be the most boring and monotone planet in the whole galaxy. Seeking that equilibrium that holds our entire existence, I tried to remain neutral in all this situation and try to understand both sides, @justinsunsteemit side and the former witnesses side. Both have valid points, both made mistakes, both are playing "who have bigger balls".
All things in life can be fix if people seat and talk like a civilized people. Negotiation is an important part of our lives, we have to learn how to find a "happy medium" that will fix things. We have to learn to let go some things in order to get the things we want, its a give and take situation: I'll give you this but I want this other thing in exchange. That's how life works, in every aspect of it... every single aspect of life, every day of our lives, until we die. Yes, we can totally say "Screw this shit! I'm out of here! I'm not gonna fix anything, I'm not gonna change my mind. I will do whatever the hell I want and I won't even gonna listen to anyone" and move on with your life. That's ok, that's acceptable too. We're entitled to do with our lives whatever the hell we want but also there's a thing called respect and so far I'm not seeing that anywhere here.
I respect other's ideas and way of living. I don't go in life telling people what to do and I, under any circumstance, let anyone toy with me, or trying to push their ideas on me, or tell me what to do. I am myself, I decide for me, I own my ideas, and I definitely own my mistakes. One of my mottoes in life is "Live and let live" but also "Respect to be respected" and that's exactly what I'm doing and will keep doing until the day I die.
That's why I'm not angry for not getting Hive airdrop, is ok with me. I'm not angry with the people that called me a traitor for remaining neutral, I'm not angry with all the people trying to force me to take a side even tho I explain several times neutrality is a most and equilibrium is needed in every single thing in this life. I didn't paid attention and won't pay attention to the insults, mocking, cursings and all the shit that has been thrown on me and probably will keep being thrown to me for staying loyal to my beliefs. I have thick skin. I'm a strong, independent, opinionated woman that doesn't let anyone force anything into me... that sounded bad but you understand what I'm talking about here.
I once told a person I was gonna stay in steemit until the end, I just wanna see what will become of the place and that's exactly what I'm gonna do. For those of you that moved to Hive, I wish y'all good luck and I hope the place grows and prosper! For those of us that will stay in steemit I wish also good luck and prosperity. I don't see why we have to fight like big kids over which blockchain is the best and keep giving explanations why we are here or there. That's stupid and a waste of time. I will keep curating in steemit and I will do some curation in Hive to help my friends in there grow... also will vote people with original content like I've been doing for almost 3 years. I am not going to post in both places, I just gonna curate in Hive to help people with my crappy votes. I will remain active here in steemit and I really hope Justin Sun and Tron revamp the place. Steemit has been in bad shape for long time, is time to change what it needs to be changed and I really hope JS/Tron have what this place needs to be become the best version of it.
Regarding the witnesses, I unvoted all the ones that were disabled. I have no idea who of the former witnesses will remain in here. Once Tron take out their witnesses I will have a better picture and vote/unvote like I've been doing the entire time. Hope the ones I voted stays here, tho.
I hope this answers all the questions I've been getting in my discord lately... cause I won't keep explaining myself over and over.
Once again, GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE WHEREVER THE HECK YOU CHOOSE TO GO. WISH STEEMIT AND THE HIVE ALL THE SUCCESS IN THIS WORLD!
- Luz
I don't spend much time on any social platform these days (and hope that changes soon). But I did see a comment from carlgnash to somebody over on Hive, about not getting the airdrop. It seems like missing airdrops for some folks may have been an error, not an intentional result. Here's the comment: (it's from this post: [https://hive.blog/hive/@justineh/hive-witnesses-or-more-communication-needed]
"you have a misconception. Not being on the airdrop isn't a blacklist. The wallet at hive.blog is just broken, there is no wallet functionality there (for everyone). You can access your wallet at peakd.com (this is the rebrand of steempeak.com for the hive).
Re the airdrop, your tokens were still reserved (along with everyone else who did not receive the airdrop) and you can appeal to get your airdropped tokens at the next hardfork (which should be pretty soon as there is a ton of code changes being worked on that require a hardfork, the first hardfork was kinda just rushed to get Hive out the gates). Given what you say it should be no problem for you to win the appeal and still receive the airdrop. Understandably they could not hold up the hardfork to hear all potential disputes about the airdrop before hardforking, and the criteria were simply enforced across the board based on the blockchain data while setting up a process for people to appeal if they had been mistakenly excluded because they accidentally voted for wrong witnesses and then changed them."
Anyway, @blacklux, I hope you are doing well, especially under all the corona circumstances.

HH!!! How are you?! I hope all is fine with you, DD always keep me up with your news hehehe.
Regarding the airdrop, I don't mind if I don't get it. I was labeled as a traitor by many for remaining neutral and I'm still neutral cause both sides have valid points and made mistakes but like in all "wars" each side wanna force everyone to pick a side and I won't do anything just because someone wants me to. So its ok with me, I'm fine with it. I keep curating in both places, I spend the last 3 month just curating in steemit, just posting once in a blue moon. I will try to be more active in here but will help people with my votes in hive so they can grow in there. I've been eating lots of veggies and plants, you should feel proud of me ahahaha

I agree, I have just been following and trying to find all the old friends from Tsu, and I don't give a dem about blockchains, I like people and are not after cryptocurrency. I've been going true really tough times last 3 years and therefore only dropped in and maybe just post one post every 3 months or so, just to let the old Tsu gang and all the new friends I've found on this fun and strange journey we have had the closed down of Tsu, that I'm still alive and (hopefully) will be back again one day.. Finding that all or most of the people are still in one place makes me feel better, even though I myself haven't been around much. So, I'm just going to keep an eye on things and try to find out who's going where but don't care about why just don't want to lose contact with the Tsu gang when I hopefully will get out of this mess I have been in and will have the time and energy to participate more. The only thing I want to know about the blockchains is how I can give away my 5 cents/steam to those I care about, I don't need them except to give them away.
PS.
I'm still a little lost in all this Steemit/Hive thing and put this comment in on Steempeek, but don't see it here, so I post it again, sorry if it will apere 2 times, I still lurning

Bragi!!! Good to see you!! I think steempeak will work only for hive, tho. How things are going there? All safe?
Tsu was bought last year and they keep saying the place will relaunch soon, who knows. Some of our tsuvian friends are here and some moved to hive.
I will try to help our friends in both places. 😅

Well, best to say as little as possible about things in my life except until now nobody has dayed. It has been that bad and still is. It's not so much me, it's the people around me, people that count on me, but it's been heavy loud because it's more than just one, and I'm not the strongest gay around, but I'm still standing (I dance me through it ;) That's where I get my energy to move one ;) ).
Yes, I have followed the saga of Tsu sins it was bought last year, but it doesn't matter to me, it's the tsuvian frends, or those of them that have been hoped together from one SN to the next sins Tsu, that I don't want to loos. Tsu was special, don't know what it was, have newer really figure it out, but it was, and I'm not the only one that feels that way. Today most of the group that has stik together are now on Steemit, and from what I see, it seems to be many of them that will be hoping on the Hive train. But after I saw that I could log in to SteemPeak and it's really just a new front on Steemit, everything follows me, all connections, steem power, etc. I decided to just be in douth places, SteemPeak seems to be like a middle ground between Steemit and Hive. Not losing anything from Steemit, but get, don't know what really, what Hive (HIPE?) is. So I have Steemit open in one tab in the browser and SteemPeak in another. But this was just happening yesterday and lucky me that I logged into Steemit after three mounts away yesterday, so I did get some feeling for what is going on and a changs to not losing more tsuvians if some jump on Hive and others stay on Steemit. It seems that using SteemPeak I can keep in contact, but I have to remember to write on Steemit if a post has been posted there because it seems to only go oneway, that is, everything on Steemit is mirrored to SteemPeak, but not the other way around.

Yeah, Tsu was like a whole different universe. So far I haven't found a place like that anywhere! All this is somewhat complicated. In the upcoming weeks we will have a clear picture of what will be the "new ways" here and in hive. I'm seeing all this process as learning, also seeing human behavior... I feel like an anthropologist ahahaha

It seems that there are a lot of people that no longer understand that word.
I will be mostly on Hive, but I did have a five year goal when I joined steem block chain, so will be doing almost the opposite of you posting in hive and curating over here. It is to hard to try and post and comment in two places, and I like to comment but they take time, so I can see me doing mostly votes a bit further down the road.
I still want to see what happens social wise on steem.

Yeah! I don't get why they are trying to force us to choose a side. Curating in both places is the wise thing to do imo. I wish you good luck and lots of success in both places!

I was sorry to find out you weren't airdropped. If there is a proposal to airdrop you back, I support it. I know your heart is in the good place! As for me, will be moving to hive. Sarted to powerdown, don't want to be in a blockchain with this kind of ruling. There are two sides to every story and both sides have something to be pointed out... but all I've seen on Justin's side is enough for me to walk away. Stay safe, nasty virus out there. Would love to see you on Hive!

I am very new to Steem and in that case have no idea what you are talking about. But I do think it takes great courage to not pick a side. That is what stood out to me in this post. I believe wholeheartedly in standing in the radical middle, standing in the grey, refusing to pick sides because all that does is divide us. And though I don't understand this context, all of life seems to be like this. I am still quite confused as I try to understand the world of Steem but I am excited to start engaging with other writers and then put my poetry out there too. ❤

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. I've been on a rollercoaster these months plus to be sincere I started a "posting strike" like 8 months ago before all the drama started ahahah. I believe in the "live and let live" and also I'm a firm believer that anything can be fixed if both sides seat and have a civilized talk... but well, life is not that simple, right? hehe Hope you're doing great here or anywhere you choose to be!
