| I have always been fascinated by food photography as an art. I love to cook, it's my hobby, so I know that a beautiful serving is one of the important indicators of a delicious dinner. And when the dish is served beautifully, you want to take a picture of it. However, sometimes it happens that the dish looks bombastic, and you can not convey it in the photo. It may seem that the whole thing is imperfect technology (for example, you use a smartphone), but this is not the case. You just need a lot of light, good lighting - this is the most important factor in successful photography, no wonder professional photo shoots are carried out in studios where there is professional lighting equipment. | Мене завжди захоплювала фуд-фотографія (тобто фотографування їжі) як мистецтво. Я люблю готувати, це моє захоплення, то ж я знаю, що красива подача – це один із важливих показників смачної вечері. А коли страва подана красиво, то її хочеться сфотографувати. Проте інколи так буває, що страва виглядає бомбезно, а ти ніяк не можеш передати це на фото. Може здатися, що вся справа у недосконалій техніці (наприклад, ви використовуєте смартфон), але це не так. Просто потрібно багато світла, хороше освітлення – це найголовніший чинник вдалої фотографії, недарма професійні фотосесії здійснюють на студіях, де є професійне освітлювальне обладнання. |

| I constantly lack a spacious, iluminated kitchen where I could create, not just cook. Everywhere I lived before, there were some factors that did not meet my requirements: it was either very crowded, or there was little light, or both ones. My husband and I are just finishing construction of our future house (very slowly), so I'm one step closer to realizing my dream of my dream kitchen (sorry for the tautology). | Мені постійно бракує просторої, світлої кухні, де б я могла творити, а не просто куховарити. Всюди, де я проживала раніше, були якісь чинники, які не задовольняли моїм вимогам: там було або дуже тісно, або мало світло, або і те, і інше. Ми з чоловіком зараз саме завершуємо наше будівництво (дуже повільно завершуємо), то ж я вже за крок до здійснення своєї мрії щодо кухні моєї мрії (перепрошую за тавтологію). |

| But despite all these limitations, sometimes I manage to take some interesting photos in a regular kitchen. For example, these photos I received when the I cooked usual dishes. I did not photograph these dishes, but I did take a few photos of the ingredients. Here I have in the photo beet juice in a spoon, beets at close range, cabbage. These photos turned out interesting, in my opinion. So I want to say that you should dream, but if you want to create, you should do it already, and not wait for later. At least in this way you can constantly improve your skills. | Та не зважаючи на всі ці обмеження, інколи мені вдається зробити якісь цікаві фото на звичайній кухні. Наприклад ці фото я отримала, коли звичайні страва. Я не фотографувала самі ці страви, а от кілька фото складників зробила. Ось у мене є тут на фото буряковий сік у ложці, сам буряк з близької відстані, капуста. Ці фото вийшли цікавими, на мою думку. То ж я хочу сказати, що мріяти варто, але якщо хочеш творити, то це варто робити вже, а не чекати на потім. Принаймні таким чином можна постійно удосконалювати свої навички. |
