Nachtleuchtende Wolken über Krefeld // Noctilucent Clouds above Krefeld

Nachtleuchtende Wolken sind dieser Tage rund um die Sonnenwende auch in unseren Breiten zu beobachten. Rund 1-2 Stunden nach Sonnenuntergang erscheint dann am Firmament jenes Phänomen bei dem der Staub von Meteoriten in der Stratosphäre unseres Planeten von der bereits untergegangen Sonne angestrahlt und zum Leuchten gebracht wird.
