Artists and themes of the Skater XL OST unveiled

Modest Mouse, Band of Horses, Getter, and Interpol are part of a deluxe soundtrack in the run-up to the game's premiere on July 28.

Skater XL, the only skateboarding game that offers unprecedented freedom in the skateboarding world, has revealed the list of artists and tracks that will be part of the game in its July 28 release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Each band has a distinctive sound that blends well with the game's street life and physical control mechanics.

The attached document details the artists and compositions that will be included in the powerful Skater XL soundtrack, including Modest Mouse, Band of Heroes, Getter, Interpol, Future Islands, Animal Collective, and Silversun Pickups, among many others.

Skater XL is the first game in the genre to hit all major gaming platforms in over 10 years and offers a complete physics-based game with total expression. Play as skateboarding icons like Tiago Lemos, Evan Smith, Tom Asta, or Brandon Westgate in your attempt to become a pro skateboarder or build your own character with unique features and an authentic team of the best skateboarding brands. Skater XL will be released digitally on PS4, Xbox One and PC on July 28th, and in physical stores for PS4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch version will be released later this year.
