Final Fantasy XIV shows the first details of its 5.3 patch, 'Reflections in Crystal'
After the sweeping release of 'Shadowbringers', the third expansion of 'Final Fantasy XIV', it seems that the MMO is in its prime and feels, at the very least, strong enough to tie up some of the loose ends of its main campaign through a new patch that also comes loaded with new content to attend to.
This is confirmed today by its developers, who are giving birth to the first details of 'Reflections in Crystal', which will be the third patch of 'Shadowbringers' (number 5.3) and which will add, of course, new challenges and plot content for its players. When will we see it? Next August 11th.
The Ascian terror continues
This new patch will pick up where its predecessor left off: in the face of a new problem caused by the actions of the Ascians. In this case, those of Elidibus. For this same reason, we will have to face them again as Warriors of Light to save the world from the sad fate to which it seems to be condemned.
It won't be all, of course, because Yoko Taro and Keiichi Okabe will be present again in this new patch with the second raid based on 'NieR: Automata', called 'YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse: The Puppets' Bunker'. In addition, we will have a new trial which, they assure, will become the biggest challenge seen so far.
It won't be everything, because The Heroes' Gauntlet is the new dungeon that the team has prepared for us and it will also arrive with this new patch, and it will have equipment based on the Ascian aesthetic as a reward, although its details are still uncertain. What is certain is that we will return to Norvrandt dressed as Warriors of Darkness. Beyond that, The Sorrow of Werlyt will be the new chapter of Chronicles of a New Era, we will add improvements for the Relics with new episodes of Save the Queen and, among others, we will know the improvements with which 'A Realm Reborn' returns. Are you ready to return to Eorzea?
