The Dark Pictures: Little Hope now has an official release date

After being delayed again by the COVID-19, Supermassive Games has just announced a new release date for 'The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope'. The final date is finally set for October 30th this year 2020, just in time for Halloween.

The anthology is presented as a series of independent and branched out horror games that began their journey with 'Man of Medan' in August 2019. Each title is independent and features an original story, new settings, and a new cast of characters per installment.

The story of 'The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope' will focus on four young university students and a professor who ended up lost in the city. A strange fog will prevent them from leaving, so they will be forced to explore the city, and in the course of the story, they will have to make vital decisions and will have to do everything possible to survive. At the heart of this mysterious story is a strange, enigmatic girl, and there are hundreds of secrets to be discovered before the answers are found.

New content and cooperative modes

The title will come with a standard single-player campaign, and in addition 'Little Hope' will allow for online play with two players. Up to five players can even join in a local cooperative session as they try to overcome various challenges. Pre-orderers will get early access to 'The Curator's Cut', which contains new scenes and "different playable characters with choices and results".
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope' will arrive on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on 30 October.
