Ausencia y presencia, claridad y oscuridad, todo o nada, lo uno y lo contrario, la dualidad extrema, el carácter binario de la existencia: lo malo y lo bueno, el amor y el odio, la excitación y el hastío, el movimiento y la inmovilidad, lo absoluto y lo relativo, la riqueza y la pobreza, la generosidad y la avaricia extrema... blanco y negro.

Absence and presence, light and darkness, all or nothing, that or the contrary, extreme duality, the binary nature of existence: bad and good, love and hate, excitement and weariness, movement and immobility, the absolute and the relative, wellness and poorness, generosity and extreme greed... black and white.

La sociedad en la que vivimos la mayoría de nosotros es así, bipolar, dual. En demasiadas ocasiones nos olvidamos del universo que separa los extremos pero claro, nuestra mente, en general, no abarca tamaña inmensidad... Necesitamos simplificar, resumir el caos que nos rodea a la mínima expresión manejable para nuestras mentes.
Nuestra inculturación nos obliga a polarizar para comprender y tolerar, para admitir algo o a alguien como propio, conocido y aceptable. Nos ayuda a defendernos del ataque que supone para nuestras mentes la existencia de un infinito inabarcable, de infinitas variables que pueden intervenir en la ecuación (algoritmo) de nuestras vidas.

Our society in which we mostly live is that way, bipolar, dual. Most of the time we forget about the universe that separates the opposite ends but of course, our mind, in general, can't deal with such immensity... We need to simplify, resume the surrounding chaos to it's minimum so our brains can handle it.
The received enculturation forces us to polarize in order to understand and tolerate, to accept something or someone as friendly, known and assumable. It helps us to get protection against the attack for our minds that the vastness of a ummeasurable infinite means, endless variables that may get involved on the equation (algorithm) of our lives.

Es de esta manera que lo blanco se arraiga como "bueno" y lo malo como "negro", incluso en el lenguaje que profesamos. La bondad y virtud blancas contrastan con la negra malignidad perniciosa. Llegamos a tal grado de paralelismo que asociamos dicha polaridad al rojo y azul, pero ese es otro tema. Nos encontramos camino de la mayor orgía que la dualidad podría soñar, prácticamente caemos en sus brazos como en los de un amante, dejándonos mecer por su anestésico vaivén... y en el camino se abandonan o desprecian los matices, el infinito subyacente a tamaña dualidad.

Is this way that "the white" roots as "the good" and "the bad" as "black", even on our own particular languages. The white goodness and virtue in contrast with the black pernicious malignance. We get such amount of parallelism that we often associate that polarity to red and blue colors, but that's another story.
We are on our way to the hugest orgy that duality could dream on, we are almost falling on its arms like we would in those of our lover, being swayed by its anesthetic swinging... while in the way we take appart those tints, the underlying infinite of such duality.
