Dr. Muzakkar A Gani Leads the Board of Trustees of the Aceh Development Forum Foundation.

Former Regent of Bireuen, Dr. H. Muzakkar A Gani, SH, MSi was entrusted as the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Aceh Development Forum Foundation (FBA) in a meeting on February 22-24, 2025, in Bali.

Muzakkar A Gani replaced the previous chairman, Azwar Hasan, MAP. The complete management of FBA for the 2025-2030 period is the Board of Trustees, Chairman Dr. H. Muzakkar A Gani, SH, MSi. The members are Prof. Eka Srimulyani, SAg, MA, PhD and Mirza Mubaraq, SE.

For the management of the foundation, the position of Chairman is held by Dr. Syaifullah Muhammad, ST, MEng, Secretary Dr. Fifi Yusmita, SE, MSi, and Treasurer is entrusted to Lia Zahara, SE.

Then, the foundation supervisor, Chairman Sayed Fachri, ST, MBus, with members Yusri Abdul Fattah, SE, Very Budiansyah, SE, and Taslim.

The elected Chairman of the FBA Foundation Board of Trustees, Dr. H. Muzakkar A Gani, SH, MSi emphasized that after 20 years that had been passed with full of obstacles and challenges, but successfully passed together with hope towards a brighter future.

He emphasized that FBA is not only brave in terms of concept, but besides being innovative, it also has an inspiring attitude in life. So that it has an impact and can inspire others to make the world better.

Some of the things that FBA has done, explained Muzakkar, are building SD 101 in Lampoh Daya.

"The construction of SD 101 was a quick reaction after the tsunami hit Aceh," explained Muzakkar.

"Then helping with the teaching and learning needs of more than 10 schools in Aceh as well as scholarships for around 200 students and study programs and homestays abroad for Acehnese teachers and students," he explained.

Since 2016 until now in 2025, explained Muzakkar, FBA has implemented empowerment, economic and social development programs for people with disabilities as part of the Aceh community-based inclusive development program in Aceh Besar and Pidie Districts.

The program collaborates with the international organization CBM Global which is based in Germany.

He said that FBA is present not only to serve in 15 districts and cities in Aceh, but is also ready to share concerns and fight for the progress of the people's economy and education in Indonesia.
