Hundreds of Bireuen Residents Crowd the Office of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS).

Hundreds of Bireuen residents flocked to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Office to take part in the selection interview to become candidates for the 2023 agricultural census officer, Friday, 31/03/2023.

Candidates for the 2023 agricultural census in the Bireuen area are seen queuing to take part in the selection. It can be seen that the front yard of the road in the local area is filled with hundreds of motorbikes, the front page is filled with hundreds of applicants with folders in their hands, male and female applicants sitting separately.

While others were queuing at the front entrance waiting to be called into the room, some who were inside were also waiting at the respective entrances to take part in the interview.

Meanwhile, in several of the office rooms, BPS employees conducted interviews with prospective census officers. The entire room becomes an interview room conducted by officers. Before entering the interview room, prospective census officers collect data or are absent in each room which has been arranged in such a way.

For example room A is for officer candidates from July, Jeumpa and Kota Juang. While the other rooms are for officer candidates from the Peusangan, Jangka and Peusangan Siblah Krueng Districts.

Several BPS employees were seen going back and forth arranging and summoning participants to enter the room, everything was running normally and the candidate who was summoned to enter the room also immediately entered.

Some time ago, BPS Bireuen and others recruited prospective agricultural census officers. Recruitment began on March 15th through an online system, after which a written test selection was carried out on March 28th and also online.

Finally, as many as 790 candidates passed the administration and were entitled to take part in the interview stage. All participants attended interviews with designated officers regarding a number of matters related to the tasks to be carried out later, the final results were announced Monday, 03/04/2023.

After graduating later, prospective census officers will take part in a two-day training explaining various tasks in the field. After the training they will carry out their duties for two full months, namely in June and July 2023.

The Bireuen Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) recruited 368 people for all sub-districts who would work in the field to carry out agricultural census officers.
