Officials from related agencies together with elements of Peusangan District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, Monday, 3/2/2025, held a meeting to implement the first stage of stunting discussion at the local sub-district level.
The meeting took place at the Village Hall of the local sub-district office, opened by the Secretary of the Community, Village and Women's Empowerment and Family Planning Service (DPMGP-KB) Irmawati, attended by the Acting Head of Peusangan Sub-district Hamdani, elements of the Muspika, Head of the Health Center, the keuchik and other related elements.
The Acting Head of Peusangan Sub-district, Hamdani in his direction, among others, said that the purpose of the stunting discussion is one of the important steps that must be taken by the sub-district government to ensure the implementation of the stunting prevention and reduction intervention activity plan.
It is carried out holistically and integratively between the health institution of the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) Family Planning (KB) responsible for services with the non-government sector/institution and the community.
The main material presented in the activity concerns the description of the village, special location (locus) of Peusangan District, prevalence of stunting on a village and sub-district scale. Furthermore, the scope of indicators and budgeting of PPS efforts, challenges and recommendations for efforts to accelerate stunting reduction in Peusangan District.
Secretary of DPMGP-KB Bireuen, Irmawati said, through the stunting discussion activity, various inputs were obtained from the keuchik and cross-sectors related to the preparation of the Regent's Regulation (Perbup) concerning Integrated Service Posts (Posyandu) and about gampong.
Regarding the stunting discussion activity, she said, Peusangan District is very committed and will later join hands with cross-sectors to carry out stunting convergence with a number of indicators in handling stunting.
