Thousands of residents from various corners of Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, crowded the main road of Bireuen City to take part in the Fun Walk for the 60th Anniversary of the Golkar Party, Sunday, 10/11/2024.
The activity held by the DPD II Golkar Party of Bireuen Regency received an extraordinary welcome from the community. The enthusiasm of thousands of residents was seen from the large number of participants who attended the fun walk route around Bireuen City.
Participants who gathered at the Pulo Kiton Football Field, Kota Juang District, were released directly by the Chairman of the DPD II Golkar Party of Bireuen, H Mukhlis ST, together with the Chairman of the DPD I Golkar Party of Aceh, TM Nurlif.
Afterwards, thousands of participants simultaneously walked along the protocol road towards the Bireuen-Takengon road, until they reached Simpang Meunasah Gadong before returning to the finish line at the Pulo Kiton Football Field.
At the final location, the Fun Walk participants gathered waiting for the door prize draw with various attractive prizes, such as motorbikes, electric bikes, mountain bikes, and various other entertainment prizes.
In his speech, TM Nurlif expressed his appreciation to the people of Bireuen who have given their trust to Golkar. He said that Golkar is ready to maintain this mandate by continuing to strive to meet the public's expectations in Bireuen.
"We are very proud to have the best cadres in Bireuen. H Mukhlis shows high concern for the community and consistently acts for the public interest," said TM Nurlif.
H Mukhlis ST, when interviewed, said that the Fun Walk activity had become a routine agenda in commemoration of Golkar's anniversary in Bireuen Regency. He said that the activity was always enthusiastically welcomed by the community and Golkar sympathizers.
According to him, this event is not just about distributing prizes, but also strengthening relationships between residents in an atmosphere full of happiness, which is also physically and mentally healthy.
"Alhamdulillah, the enthusiasm of the community is very great, as evidenced by the number of participants reaching almost 10 thousand people today. God willing, in the future Fun Walk will become a routine monthly event packaged in the Car Free Day agenda in Bireuen City," said the candidate for Bireuen Regent number 3.
On that occasion, Mukhlis expressed his gratitude to all the people who had participated in making the activity a success.
"We also congratulate the lucky participants who got prizes.
For those who were not lucky, stay enthusiastic, hopefully today's togetherness will continue in building the future of our beloved Bireuen Regency," concluded Mukhlis.
Mukhlis added that Golkar Bireuen is committed to continuing to play a role in national development with a spirit of work.
According to him, Golkar Bireuen has succeeded in showing a real role in filling regional development and further strengthening its position in the community.
Golkar's success was also proven by winning the most seats in the Bireuen DPRK in the 2024 legislative election, with a total of nine seats which made history for the party with the banyan tree logo in Bireuen.
"Golkar Bireuen will continue to fill the nation's development, strengthen the spirit of work, by never stopping in the role of renewal," said Mukhlis.
He emphasized that Golkar will continue to embrace young people and maintain solidarity with the older generation to strengthen the party's foundation.
For him, Golkar's existence must be a dynamic political instrument, which is able to adapt to the times and maintain moral values and existing regulations.
He also invited all Golkar cadres and sympathizers to remain solid in one goal for the glory of Golkar and Bireuen. For Mukhlis, this commemoration is not just a ceremony, but also an event to strengthen the bonds of togetherness and strengthen the determination to create real change in Bireuen.
