Happy Monday to you and I hope your activities are going well. Today, ema and I are planning to find a different hangout place than usual. Not looking for coffee, tea and food, but me and ema looking for whipped avocado. It just so happened that ema knew a place for a delicious avocado shake with a good view. This place is located on a side street which is quite crowded by people. Around 8 pm me and ema went straight to that location to enjoy whipped avocado.
Welcome to the Horas Shake Pokat. This place has been here for a long time, maybe about 5 years this place has never moved. One of the places that is quite famous for enjoying whipped avocado in the city of Langsa. There are several other places, the quality is very different from the Horas whipped avocado. You can see the photo above. There are lots of sweetened condensed milk arranged like a pyramid and milo sachets that are hanging. Curious about what's behind this place? Immediately I will see what they use.
Well, now I'm at the place where they make avocado shakes. I asked permission to one of the waiters in this place. The place is not so dirty and everything is neatly arranged. They also provide squeezed oranges for visitors. The service at this place is very friendly and not overbearing. I don't see any blender or tools for making avocado shakes. Turns out they put the tool on the right. Now let's see what menus they provide.
The menu that this place provides is quite varied. They named their menu with Pokcok which means avocado shake. One of the most frequently purchased menus is the original whipped avocado and the avocado whipped cheese. The menu price is also not too expensive and standard. I immediately ordered the avocado shake with chocolate milk and ema ordered the original whipped avocado. After I ordered, I'm still curious what avocado they used. Let's just see what avocado they use.
They use avocado which is usually used to make avocado shake. Usually they use avocado from the city of Takengon. Looks like there are so many avocados they provide. Because all menus are made from avocado, of course they provide more avocado for visitors. Making avocado shake is not too difficult, using a manual tool to mix all the avocados to make it smooth, they don't use a blender. Now I take a seat which I think is quite comfortable.
Well, I took the back seat because the seats they provide can be reclined. Now I have to wait a few minutes, because they are making our menu. It was a very clear night and there were a lot of people passing by on the streets. Honestly, I prefer a place like this to a fancy restaurant, because I prefer an outdoor atmosphere to an indoor one. While listening to the song they play, ema tells a little about the experience that often sits in this place.
After waiting 8 minutes, our order arrived at the table. The photo above is ema's original avocado menu. Looks not so much mixed. Only use sweetened condensed milk and ice that has been grated. The original avocado taste is not so boring and feels like drinking ordinary avocado. But I quite like the original. Now I want to taste my avocado shake with chocolate milk and my own milo.
Now I will try mine. You can see the photo above, it looks very fresh and filled with chocolate. The top has milo sachets that are sprinkled, then they put the grated chocolate on top. I'm really confused how to mix everything hahaha. I asked ema for help to stir. All the milo and chocolate fell on the table. Avocado flavor is very thick and fat. All the chocolate is mixed which makes me full of drinking this avocado shake menu. In total all I had to pay was around 3$ for 2 glasses of avocado shake. Good night @amarachukwu, I find the avocado-based drinks combined with chocolate milk incredible, I have tried avocado in salads accompanying meals, its flavor alone is very pleasant, but in shakes I would have to prepare it to find out what knows. thanks for sharing your experience in your post.
