A total of 85 delegates from 12 Principal Working Groups (KKKS) in Bireuen Regency, showcased their talents at the 2024 Bireuen Regency National Elementary School Student Art Festival and Art Competition (FLS2N-SD) in 2024.
The FLS2N-SD event held by the Bireuen Education and Culture Service (Disdikbud) through the Primary School Development Division raised the theme Freedom to Achieve, Inspiring Artistic Talent.
The activity was officially opened by the Head of the Bireuen Education and Culture Office, Muslim, M.Si, in this case represented by the Head of Elementary School Development, Fauzan, S.Pd., M.M, in the local Education and Culture Hall, Thursday morning (02/5/2024).
The ceremonial opening of the competition activity was marked by symbolically attaching the participant's sign and the sign of the participant's companion. The activity, which was held for a full day, included five competition branches, namely New Creation Dance, Solo Singing, Storytelling Drawing, Pantomime and Weaving Crafts.
In the essence of his speech, Fauzan, S.Pd., M.M said, this routine activity every year is to improve ties between school principals, teachers and the entire school community. Apart from that, it is also a test of achievement, creativity and sportsmanship in competition to further increase students' insight.
It is hoped that FLS2N-SD can truly become a forum for developing talents in the artistic spirit of the students who take part in the competition. He is confident that holding FLS2N will give birth to talents who will later become ambassadors for Bireuen Regency at even higher levels.
"And it is hoped that all participants can compete by upholding the values of sportsmanship well and maintaining unity," said the Head of Bireuen Education and Culture Elementary School Development Division.
