The government of Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, distributed aid during panic attacks to victims of the fire disaster in Lapehan Village (Gampong), Makmur District, Sunday, 08/20/2023.
This assistance was channeled through the Bireuen Social Service, the assistance was directly handed over to the victims accompanied by their families and local village officials. In addition to distributing aid, the Social Service also set up emergency tents as temporary shelters for victims and their families.
The Bireuen Social Service through the Bireuen Disaster Preparedness Youth Coordinator Head Zulfikar said that after the fire incident that occurred in Lapehan Village (Gampong), Makmur District, the Bireuen government had distributed panic relief assistance and set up emergency tents.
This assistance is a form of the Bireuen government's concern for disaster victims. The assistance provided was in the form of clothing, food and other needs.
"This assistance is a form of concern for the victims of the burning house. It is hoped that the victims will be patient in facing the disaster that occurred," said Zulfikar.
As previously reported, a house belonging to a resident of Lapehan Village (Gampong), Makmur District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, was burnt to the ground on Saturday, 19/08/2023, around 22.00. WIB.
Edi Saputra and his family occupied a wooden construction that was scorched, the cause of the fire that destroyed the victim's house is not known for sure.
According to information, when the incident occurred the owner of the house was not at home. When the incident occurred, the home owner was in Gandapura City selling, the fire was initially noticed by neighbors.
The local community initially saw the fire had suddenly enlarged in Edi Saputra's house, knowing that a fire had occurred, the community immediately helped extinguish the fire. However, the magnitude of the blaze caused the wooden construction of the house to burn along with its contents.
The data on victims are Edi Saputra (Head of Family), Eka Yanti (Wife), Faiz Al Hagiz (Children) and Muhammad Alif (Children). For the time being the victims and their families were forced to live in emergency tents.
